CHERRIES boss Kevin Bond is running the rule over Eastleigh winger Mark Marshall.
The 21-year-old impressed Bond when the two sides met in a friendly at the Silverlake Stadium on Saturday.
Londoner Marshall, who joined Eastleigh from Grays Athletic midway through last season, has a year left on his contract and would probably command a nominal fee.
He linked up with Bond's squad today having recently returned to Eastleigh following a trial with League One outfit Swindon.

I thought this guy was pretty decent actually, head and shoulders above the adverage Eastleigh players.
He managed to tease our fall backs nicely but had a habbit of running the ball off when he got bogged down.

I think what fieldymex is saying is that if he is under contract it means we can't sign him until the transfer embargo has been totally lifter!

Has anybody noticed weve signed Joel Ward on a season long loan from Pompey? It's on the official website. Why would we sign these players recently if we were not going to start the season!
